What Makes a Good Niche

Indeed, what does make a good niche?
Would you say that the extremely popular "online dating" would make a good niche for you to enter? Or how about "weight reduction"

These are two examples of niches that are immensely popular, and that is exactly why you must avoid them at all costs. Instead, drill down to more specific niches within these very general terms.

Use your keyword search tool that you own, and enter "weight reduction". You should immediately see several dozen sub-niches. After you analyse some or all of these, you can select the likeliest prospects. It has to have under 50,000 searches per month, and a low amount of supply. Supply is the number of web pages answering the need with info and products for sale.

If you don't yet own a keyword tool, Google allows you to use their free Keyword Tool for Adwords at this url: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

This tool just suggests keyword choices after you enter the subject you want to consider. It doesn't give you any analysis, which you still need to do. Google has other free tools that you can use for limited analysis, and after spending tons of time, you will get the answers you need.

But let's face it, niche marketing demands lots of research to succeed at opening one or preferably many more successful niche sites. For a reasonable cost, you can save up to 90% of the time you would spend doing the research manually. Wouldn't you much prefer to spend your time marketing, rather than doing tech work?

One great keyword research tool, which I own and use, is Micro Niche Finder http://bestap.kickbutt.hop.clickbank.net/

I actually own several keyword research tools, but this is one of my favorites. I recently opened a new niche website, and I confirmed the decision using Micro Niche Finder. Accordingly, I expect my decision to be profitable. And if I'm wrong on this one, which I won't be, as that's how much I trust this tool, well if I'm wrong, I am protected because I have several other niche sites. Just proves the value of operating 10 to 20 niche web sites or blogs.

Notice that I didn't elaborate on how to do the keyword research, and that's because a good research tool will explain it so much better than I can. They should even have videos expaining all details.

So, What Makes a Good Niche? A great keyword research tool is what does it.

Let me tell you the name of the new web site. It's called Panic Attack Tips http://www.panic-attack-tips.com

Of course I did find lots of competition, but far from an excessive amount. I would love it if you would visit the site, especially if you have panic attacks or stress and anxiety problems. Please leave me a comment telling me what you think of the site. If you want to, you can sign up for some helpful tips.

Well that's my story for today. I hope it will help you to appreciate the value of owning good niche sites.
