A high search engine ranking depends upon many factors, and artile marketing can be used to satisfy several of these. By understanding how search engines calculate their SERPs, then you can use that knowledge to write articles that can ensure you of a very high search engine ranking for your keyword.

In the current economic climate when every dollar counts, you need a high search engine ranking to help you to achieve success, and article marketing provides you with a way of doing that.

That is not to infer that other means of promoting your website are not worth considering but it is a fact that an increasing number of articles are appearing in the Google listings for specific keywords. In fact, it is difficult at times to find a Google results page without at least one article listed on the page of an article directory. Thet is enough reason by itself for you to use article marketing to improve your search engine ranking and hence your income through increased traffic to your website.


So how do you do it? How do you get your article listed in page 1 of Google, as many of them are? One of the advantages of using article marketing as an SEO tool is that the article directories themselves do most of the search engine optimization for you, and all you need do is to get the keyword density and use of contextually related vocabulary right.

This is generally knwon as latent semantic indexing (LSI, although the term is not correct since it is not an SEO indexing technique but a statistical concept. What people really mean when using the term is that your text should contain vocabulary that relates to the keyword in a way that makes it clear to search engine algorithms just what the topic of your article is. Google will notice if you get it right: that is duie to the fact that Google lokks upon its LSI algorithm as being extremely important in determining how relevant your article is to the search term used by the Google user.


When writing articles, and using SEO to optimize them, never lose sight of the fact that the most important party here is the Google customer using the search engine to find information using the search term they have entered into the Google search box. Eevery page on teh web is analyzed by google, including article directory pages, in an attempt mto identify the most relevant content that will meet the needs of the search engine user. When your content is judged to have high relevance to the keyword used by the search engine customer, then that is when you get a high search engine ranking.

This is where a well written article, with well placed keywords (but not too many of them) will get your article listed on Page #1 for the keyword being used, and so as much traffic as possible. Every search term is different, and many fail to appreciate the fact. Your page is only open to one perrson ata time: the one who is carrying out the search at that moment. Although the monthly demand for that keyword might be 10,000, it is on view to only one person for each individual search, and you have to persuade the search engine (whether Google, Yahoo or any other0 that your page is worthy of a Page #1 position.


How you do that is up to you, but you are unlikely to achieve that coveted first page listing without expert advice, and instruction on how to do it. Article marketing can be used to get you a high search engine ranking but you have to know how to do it for you to succeed.
