A process of learning a new skill especially playing a musical instrument can be quite painful and frustrating. How quickly you overcome your pain and frustration entirely depends on you. Also there are some methods and tools that can help you to learn faster and without pain. Actually learning to play piano can be fun. The following tips can make your learning experience more rewarding.

1) Use metronome while practicing piano.
Metronome is a useful tool to in learning to play. It will strengthen your rhythm skills. Certain type of music requires you to play at a certain speed or tempo. What metronome does it helps you to count beats per minute and keep time steadily without shaking. Trust your metronome and staying on beat will be no problem for you.

2) Learn to read piano chords.
There are literally thousands and thousands of chords and probably thousands or even millions of tunes in music. All of them are based only on four chords. It is absolutely possible to learn to play almost any song by learning to play four chords. Those thousands of chords and tunes have their roots based on four types of chords. Playing music by chords allows you to use it as a map, rather than a note-for-note approach. If you learn to read the chords, you will be able to improvise and play your own melodies.

3) Get yourself an instructor or a good piano course.
As for anything under the sun it is best to learn playing piano with an instructor. Unfortunately lessons with a good instructor are not cheap. That’s why I like to take courses developed by top instructors but learn them on my own. I like taking online courses. The advantage of online course is that a great piano player is teaching you but the price is very affordable.

I believe I found a video course that can help to play piano without pain. The techniques in this course are straightforward. Even if you think you are not talented it will help you to master the piano playing. The most interesting part of this course I found that it requires minimum amount of practice time. This course gives you a smart learning technique to help you maximize the efficiency of the time you spend practicing the play on piano.
