Meditation is easy to learn but takes time to learn it the correct way. Initially, you may face problems. Your mind will start wandering and your brain will have clouded thoughts. This may even make you think meditation is not working, but practice makes anything perfect. It requires great patience to train yourself for meditation and once you get it right, you will feel the ease in resisting your temptation.


Self-talking - We commonly have mental conversations with ourselves be it during stress, happy moment, achievement, or even a sad moment, we all self-talk. In this method, you'll need to understand the way you self-talk. Your determination plays a key role. If you're determined to quit drugs, your self-talk will motivate you to do so. Ask questions to yourself - Do I need this drug? Is this the only thing helping me solve my problems? Am I leading a good life? Does it affect my family? More and more questions will start crowing your mind and your determination will help you answer each of these questions. Be patient and answer to your mind. It is really tough as you may become restless, but this method will start working out once you become a friend of your mind. Your are the conqueror of your mind, it will function the way you think. Think right and you will achieve what you need.
