Well, I don’t really know what to say. Let me check if the stars are still bright on sky. Now, being serious, this planet is in a lot of trouble concering the energy area. The world’s oil reserves are gradually decreasing and soon they won’t be nothing left. This a big issue that we must pay attention to. The years to come aren’t that optimistic, but are we aware of the severity of the problem?
To answer that question I will present some facts to you. About 10 years ago, when the situation wasn’t so tragic, the US produced 61 quadrillion BTUs of energey. Thay may seem much. But US consumed 95 quadrillion BTUs. This leads us to a 34 quadrillion BTU of energy loss. I know I am not someone with a lot of expertise in the science domain but you must admit that this is bad. Very bad, considering that this was 10 years ago.
Regarding this facts, it’s not hard to understand the issue. The country is producing less energy that it needs to use, so we need other nations to look after us and to make sure our TV still provides uf our movie. Maybe this isn’t so important for some of you, but for the majority of us it’s not such a relaxing idea.
USA has a supply of oil and gas. Only that this supply will last for about 80 years. This is according to a geological expertise. Maybe our necessities are covered and we don’t feel the lack of oil that will be in 80 years from now, but a lot of people will be in great discomfort or worse, in great poverty.
Of course, everyone is wondering if the US can’t just sink to get more oil in its on land. I’ll tell you why. This isn’t possible because the world will be in a heck a lot of trouble. Many people will agree with me, especially the ecologists and the protectors of the environment. I could be wrong but I doubt it and onestly I’m not willing to take the risk.
This is why we must use renewable energy resources because we don’t go short with them. There are here all around us. Just notice the sun and the wind. The solar energy it’s not exhaustible. What is very important is that you don’t need the leaders of the country to make the job. You can use these sources of energy very easy. And I mean it.
