Linda bought a new Rainbow vacuum cleaner and is really
enjoying it. Since that day the Rainbow dealer came to
her house to demonstrate the Rainbow vacuum cleaner to
her and Tommy she fell in love with it.

Linda could not believe how dirty the water turned inside
the Rainbow vacuum water basin. Sid talked Tommy into
vacuuming a small area of their carpet over and over
again, about 50 times, then Sid vacuumed the same spot
with the Rainbow and turned the water in the basin muddy.

Linda didn't have an old vacuum cleaner, it was brand
new. Sid, the Rainbow vacuum guy, explained to them that
this was a common problem, and all vacuum cleaner bags
have holes in them and that is what caused her vacuum
cleaner to leave dirt on the carpet.

Sid said that when the holes in her bag got stopped up
that her vacuum would lose air flow. Linda didn't know
about air flow, she thought it was suction that picked
up the dirt and trash off the carpet. Of course Sid
knew that Linda was playing right along with his script
because he had done this hundreds of times before.

The problem was, Linda didn't know what she was going to
say, but Sid did. Tommy and Linda went ahead with the
purchase of their Rainbow vacuum cleaner that day and
have not regretted it one time. That is, until they
needed some more apple blossom fragrances.

They had run out of the fragrance, but when they tried
to call Sid, his telephone had been disconnected. Not
only that, but the office number didn't work either.

This kind of thing has happened before and will happen
again. It's the nature of all kinds of direct sales
groups.

When sales are up, cash flow is good. When sales head
south, so does the office. The bad thing is that this
leaves the customer with no source for their Rainbow
vacuum parts and supplies.
