Decades ago a lot of business transactions were completely manual but as the technology improves, the happy easy days that existed only in the figment of our imaginations are slowly becoming a reality.

Such are like purchasing our personal use goods and services online which makes it possible to obtain these at the comfort of our chair at home.

How common is this world over

This is a big improvement that has been used in developed countries where roots of civilization can be traced, but being introduced only now in third world countries.

At these low developed countries, there are people who have never seen anything like supermarket because they live in remotest of all parts you can think of.

You can only imagine how difficult it becomes to explain an issues such as using a computer machine leave alone internet connection which enables shopping online to them.

This then translates to a low pace of change in these places while the western side is forging right ahead.

However, among those who knows about this, security issue makes all the difference when it comes to preference rates between shopping from a supermarket or order the same online.

How secure is it to shop online?

Not unless one has done it successfully before, many clients will express fear of losing their money and receive no goods at all.

As a customer one would not blamed for the huge fraud rate associated with online transactions except for their ignorance ahead of doing things.

This will always be so because when one buys from a shopping mall, they comes in face to face contact with the provider of services which is opposite with the online transactions.

The biggest error uninformed customers make is not being vigilant when giving their credit card details while doing online shopping.

Many do not know the signal to look at so as to realize when it is safe or unsafe to offer these important details.

Those who have done it successfully know that if they can not locate a key symbol normally lying mostly at the bottom of their computer screens, their details are not being programmed and transmitting safely down the wire.

Therefore they realize how insecure this is and avoid it because the symbol tells them that the retailer uses a coding technique that is very difficult to hack.

This is because the cost of doing so is a fortune to be afforded by your credit card details.

Does your credit card company intervene in your adversity?

Your credit card company will bear the expense should anything go wrong but not without something in return.

They are in business and they can not be too stupid to provide a cross over bridge to ignorant customers!

In a way this cost will register somewhere hidden as excess amount on the use or misuse of the credit card.

Should your adversity occur on the web, the credit card company will in many cases drop the charge like a hot stone and leave you at the mercy of the retailers?

At other times they may agree to settle the small charges for their clients with the hope that next time they will be careful of online frauds.
