God is in the House
But what house? Your house, my house that’s what house. And that house is our hearts. Yes, God lives in our hearts. At least that’s where we can find God. Its not the only place God can be found. But its the easiest place for us to look. In the broader greatness that is existence, and given our inability to comprehend it, we need to start at the easiest place and go from there.

Yes God lives in our hearts. That’s part of the reason for our internal struggles. Its the reason for guilt. its the reason for our boundless amount of good that we can do. its the reason we cry at something good and cry at something bad as well. We as humans are constantly at war with our inner nature. and this war explains our struggles.

God is in our hearts. God is also in our churches. God is everywhere. that may sound very simple but it is very profound as well. we can't contain God to this place or that. These are physical limits that can't be placed on God. Think of it this way. While you walk through a park you see all kinds of things. You see grass, trees, paths, animals and lots of other things. But you can't see the park itself.

Yet if you were able to leave the park and look from above you would see the park itself. This has been explained many times. And it leaves you to believe that the park as seen from above is the whole picture. It is not. The park is also on the walk we took. The park is also the things we saw, air we breathed. The park is also us.

God is not just outside of us or seen only from above. God is us. We are God. We can never see God from a vantage point outside or above. Because we are always within God. And God is within us. When we smile, God smiles. When we cry, God cries. And when we laugh, God laughs. We are and always will be connected to God. And God will always be connected with us.

As we begin to understand this we take a baby step towards heaven itself. And in reverse if we ignore or devalue that, we war against truth and slide towards hell. But rest assured, even if we approach or even enter hell itself, God is there. And feeling the pain just as we do. The power to return to the truth is ours. And God will wait with us while we figure that out. God will wait with us always.

We are always conflicted. This is the battle between our physical evolution and our spiritual truth. God made us this way for a reason. It may be something we may never understand or it may be something as simple as our five senses. God may have simply wanted us to grow with these senses so that when we leave the physical world our perceptions and realities may be taken with us.

I suspect it is like the theory of the park. It is a part of the total story but not the whole truth. So lets take that truth and cling to it. God is in us. And we are in God. Never to be separated. Not even the gates of hell can separate us. God will always be there, waiting if we need it. And ready to give that beautiful warm embrace when we ask or need. we just have to realize it.
