Wedding Cake Decorations - Icing Glamour

Decorating wedding cakes can be a lot of trouble, because you not only have to deal with the already stress of decorating a cake, but you have to deal with the crazy future bride. Brides can be become obsess with wanting everything to be perfect, which is good, but sometimes is hard to decorate a cake when you have somebody looking at you while working. Wedding cakes are the most beautiful thing to see; they are so impressive, and some of them just look like something so amazing that you don't even want to eat it.

They are a lot of work, but they are one of the most satisfying ones to decorate. The brides usually have a theme at their wedding thus that is what we usually use to decorate the cake. For example for Tony Braxton's wedding the theme was Tiffany, the jewelry store, thus when we did the cake we made a bunch of different squares, some of them were chocolate, and some of them were vanilla, and then we decorated them the famous green tiffany color. At the end we added some silver bows made out if icing, and they look like little tiffany boxes. She loved it, we did too, but it was one of the hardest one to do, because connecting all the different squares in a way that they look good and that they didn't get ruined was hard.

Another crazy wedding cake that we had to decorate was one that wanted the cake looking like elephants, and camels. I know kind of weird, but their theme was the Arabian Night. Thus we did it like a desert, it looked very good at the end, but it took a lot of practice, especially making the animals look real and looking good. Thus wedding cakes are hard to make, but I would never give up making them.
