Finding the right dealer infrared sauna takes some research, but there is plenty of information available if you take the time to investigate. While there are a wide variety of dealers to be found on the internet (as well as through more traditional methods), not all dealers are created equal. Preparing for your search before you begin gives you the best chance of finding the right infrared sauna for you.

Before you begin your search for the best dealer, do some research on the different elements of the infrared sauna itself. This includes researching the different kinds of wood that are used and what kinds of heaters are available.

Cedar, Hemlock, and Spruce are the woods of choice for many manufacturer who specialize in quality. Cedar is mentioned most frequently. Because it is a soft wood, cedar resists the cracking and splitting that can result from frequently heating and cooling the wood. In addition, cedar has natural anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties, which are important in a moisture-rich environment such as a sauna. Some dealers tout "hypoallergenic" wood which has been treated with a substance that resists allergens. But mold and bacteria grow easily on this wood, making the hypoallergenic properties fade after a few uses.

The second major element of an infrared sauna is the heater. Most infrared heaters are made with either carbon or ceramic materials. A ceramic heater efficiently produces a great deal of infrared heat in the optimal range for a sauna, although it produces a shorter infrared wave. Carbon heaters, on the other hand, produce longer infrared waves, which are considered more desirable in an infrared sauna. So ceramic heaters produce a lot of lower-quality infrared heat, which carbon hearers produce a small amount of high-quality infrared heat. Talk with your dealer about their preference.

One great way to learn more about your sauna dealer is to simply ask a lot of questions. If they are willing to educate your about infrared saunas in general, they are interested in you, not just the sale. Ask them how their products differ from those of other companies and pay close attention to their answers.

Another area to look into is the warranty. How much is it and what does it cover? How long does it last? Do the manufacturer and dealer believe in this product enough to offer a complete lifetime warranty, or does the coverage end after a few years?

Finally, talk with the dealer about the safety practices used in the construction of the sauna and how to safely operate it.

Looking for the right sauna can be a daunting task. But if you arm yourself with questions and listen carefully to the dealer's answers, you can find the right dealer infrared sauna. For more on the latest infrared saunas, visit http://www.YourInfraredSauna.com.
