Probably one of the easiest and best ways to make ridiculous amounts of cash on the internet is by selling your very own product. Why? Well, because every one that you sell, you get to keep 100% of the profits....sweet!
As you probably know, as an affiliate selling other peoples products, you would get a commission which is still pretty good and can be from 50 to 75%. That’s still some good potential cash. But if the product was yours, you can have ALL the profits and DOUBLE your income.
Imagine it this way... if you sold just two $100 product everyday... you get 50% commission as an affiliate... that’s $3,000 a month and $36,000 a year. Not to be sniffed at. Hold on though, what if the product was your own giving you 100% of the profits...that’s a very tasty $72,000 per year, yum-yum!
Do you think that might come in handy? That’s more than most people will ever make in a year slaving away for 8-10 hrs a day in a job they hate. I mean, even if we halved it and only sold a measly one a day, that still gives you a cool $36,000 for the year, probably still above the national average.
You can then go out and find other affiliate marketers to promote and sell your product for you. This is where the real power comes in. Even though you’d be giving 50% of your profit away, it’s FREE money, you’re doing ‘diddley squat’ for the 50% you’re receiving. They’re doing the work, lovely.
You get to focus on the more profitable areas your business like creating more products and let your affiliates send you the sales. Plus all you need is one really good marketer that really knows what they’re doing with a good list and you can be raking in a small fortune in a short space of time.
Hold on though...woah...put the brakes on a minute; let’s not get ahead of ourselves here. If you’re pretty new to internet marketing, then it’s probably not a good idea to dive in and try to create and market your own product straight away. All this is great and very achievable and it’s what you will be aiming for. But you’ll want to learn the ropes first, kinda ‘cut your teeth’ in the IM world.
Your first mission will be to find hungry niche markets that have a problem that you can offer a solution to. Look for the headaches out there and offer them an aspirin. Forget about creating a product first, no, no, no. Find out what the market (people out there) want, then (eventually) create, or in this case source the solution and hand it to them on a silver platter.
You now know that the best way to make the most amount of money on the Internet is by eventually creating and selling your own product. But for now, as you don’t have much experience in internet marketing yet, you just start off as an affiliate and sell other peoples products.
You go and sign up as an affiliate (which is FREE) to a product that fits the ‘hungry’ market you’ve just sourced. You then send all the traffic you can to the, already created website, the already written sales letter for the already created product. You’ve got the easy part. And guess what, you get to do this with as many affiliate products as you like.
So, even though you might only be making a couple of hundred dollars a month with one affiliate product, you just keep on going, 10...20...30 products, all created for you, waiting for you to send traffic to them and put cash right in to your bank account. Certainly beats working for a living, don’t you think?
Then and only then, when you know your way about do you create your very own product for the markets you now know that are buying. Now you’ll be entering the big league of earners.
