Nokia 6280 plum: A powerful imaging videophone

The Plum Nokia 6280 is one of Nokia's first slide designed phones since the popular 7650. The Nokia 6280 mobile phone lets you enjoy your favourite shows with an ultimate mobile viewing. The stereo digital music player and built in FM radio lets you store loads of pictures and tracks on the free 64MB card or transfer them to your PC with Bluetooth. The 6280 is incorporated with 262K colour screen to feature a QVGA resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The triband GSM handset also supports GPRS/EDGE and 3G.

The amazing 2.0 megapixel digital camera is capable of capturing both still pictures as well as high quality video clips. The Nokia 6280 mobile phone offers a full-screen landscape mode for use when shooting stills or recording video in addition to a LED flash with a range of up to 1.5 meters. The Nokia 6280 includes the full support for SMS, MMS and presence enhanced instant messaging, as well as an e-mail client supporting POP3/IMAP4/SMTP protocols. It also supports Nokia's Xpress audio messaging, Push-To-Talk, and further on the note of audio integrates a stereo FM radio with support for Visual Radio and also a music player with stereo audio.

For connectivity, there is Bluetooth, infra red and USB2.0. Measuring in at 115g and 100 x 46 x 21 mm, the Nokia 6280 offers a claimed talk time of up to 2.5 hours and up 200 hours, respectively, when on WCDMA, up to 3 hours and up to 250 hours on GSM.

The plum 3G 6280 also offers email access, video ringtones and support for mini SD cards. It has an internal memory of 10mb expandable with MMC's to store all your favourite media including videos, photos and music MP3's.
