Here are some of our favourite holiday destinations in the UK. There are so many great places to visit, perhaps more than people realise, that’s its impossible to list them all here so we have chosen just four of our favourite places.
London
The capital of the UK, London, is regarded as one of the greatest cities in the world. The city is top of many peoples dream holiday destination and it’s easy to see why. The city has so much history, culture, landmarks, entertainment and style that you can keep coming back to London again and again and still find something new and exciting to see and experience. During the day you can experience some of the many, many sights such as Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye and the Tower of London. By night the city takes on a new life with some of the finest restaurants to be found in the world, exclusive bars and clubs and of course the greatest theatre in the world can be found in the West End. All this make London a must see destination.
Devon
The county of Devon is growing more and more popular with holiday makers. Regarded as one of the most beautiful counties in Britain, Devon as a stunning coastline both to its north and south, a picturesque green countryside, two amazing National Parks, award winning beaches, and pretty villages, towns and cities. Devon appeals to people of all ages so if you have a young family or want to take your loved one away for a romantic break Devon will suite you.
Pembrokeshire
Pembrokeshire in South Wales is home to the Pembrokeshire National Park, the only entirely coastal national park in Britain. Its coast line has received this status because it is one of the most stunning coastline to be found anywhere in the British Isles. The park contains high cliffs, golden sandy beaches, caves, coves, tranquil islands, lakes and woodland. There are plenty of things to see and do for a family or a couple making this a top UK destination.
Brighton
Brighton is one of the most exciting, vibrant and cosmopolitan cities in Britain if not in all of Europe. The city has a life and vibrancy quite like any other, it is bursting with energy, fun and a sense of freedom which attracts predominantly young people from across the country, though there is more than enough to attract peoples of all ages. The city nestles between the beautiful South Downs and the south coast.
