As we all know the small cars dominated the Indian car market. They are known for their compactness, affordability and also style. small cars the demand for small cars is always high in India. Though the Indian car market has cars from every segment, the demand and the population of small are increasing. This is because the both the domestic and the foreign car manufacturers see the importance of small cars in the Indian car market.

Fiat 500

Fiat 500, one of the most expensive small cars with the price tag of Rs 15 Lakh was in 2008 July, It is a lifestyle two door coupe that created a sensation in the India. This debonair model comes to India as a completely built unit. Designed by Fiat Style Centre Fiat 500 also carries another name called Cinquecento in Italy.

Under the hood we get 1.3L turbo-charged engine which is equipped with 5-speed manual gearbox. It is available in two variants Fiat Sport and Fiat Lounge.

The sporty exterior comes with a round shaped trendy headlamps and the trademark chrome whisker. The rear is furnished with chrome finishes large tailgate, large tail lamps, and an integrated roof spoiler. The 15 inch alloy wheel steels the attention from the other cars of its class.


Maruti Suzuki A-star

The first global car from the stable of Maruti Suzuki A-star was introduced in 2008. This A-star attracts with its admirable design, finer engineering, and dazzling performance. Hyundai i10

Hyundai launched Hyundai i10 in 2007 November. It was named as PA in its development stages. The i10 comes with the option of two engines.1.1L iRDE and 1.2L Kappa (Kappa was added in 2008) and is mated with the 4-speed manual and 5-speed automatic transmission.

After the long success of Hyundai Santro, i10 takes over the position of the most popular car in its segment. It exhibits its beauty with bulged headlights, low slung grille. The interior is adorned with high quality materials with comfort and convenient features. The safety features child safety door locks, seatbelts, front air bags, ABS, and crumple zones.

It is available in four variants- D-lite, Era, Magna, and Magna O , i10 competes with Chevrolet Spark, Maruti Suzuki Zen Estilo, Maruti Suzuki WagonR, and Tata Indica Xeta. The i10 has also won the 'the car of the year' award in such a short time. Offered with vibrant colours, i10 starts with the price Rs 3.4 lakh.

Skoda Fabia

Skoda from Volkswagen launched Fabia a premium hatchback in 2008 January. It is the first small car from Skoda in India which received inspiring response from the people at the 2008 Auto Expo held at New Delhi.

Fabia is created on new a PQ25 platform. The premium car offers a choice of three engines-1.4 litre diesel, 1.4 litre and 1.2 litre petrol engine which is mated by a 5-speed manual transmission.

The rocking car comes with the trendy design, plentiful features and intelligent interior that makes unique from other cars of the same class. The Fabia is bestowed royal with a tight-fitting roof, stylish headlamps, and a big chrome bar with a refined look. The alloy wheels with bigger tyres give this premium hatchback a sporty look.
The interior presents comfort, luxury, convenience as well as safety. The cabin spoils you with striking and high quality material. The multi-textured fabric swathed upholstery adds class to the car.
