If you have a hot rod and you don't want the paint job damaged by harmful UV rays, you need a silver tarp. If you need to cover up your winter's supply of wood so it will stay dry, use a silver tarpauin. Anything that you have that can be brought indoors but still needs protection from the sun and rain, you need to invest in a silver poly tarp. A lot of weathering can cause irreversible damage to some paint jobs and the wind can cause grit to embed in a surface of paint, too. Use a silver poly tarp that will reflect UV rays and the same time reflect rain and wind. If you have anything of value that has to be stored outdoors, don't take any chances! Use a durable silver poly tarp and be safe rather than be sorry!

Grommets on silver poly tarps are spaced every 18 inches instead of the usual 36 inches making them a much better covering by simply being woven tighter. The silver poly tarp is water resistant, tear resistant and mildew resistant due to the fact that they are coated with a 40 micron UV coating on both sides that aides in making them even resistant to the coldest temperatures. As far as tarps go, a silver poly tarp is the top of the line tarp!

Silver poly tarps are tough and will serve the consumer well. They are woven with 14 strands vertically and 14 strands horizontally for a very tight weave and stronger durability. The corners are reinforced with plastic capping to keep them from getting frayed and the grommets are rust-free. Silver poly tarps have double-stitched seams or they have heat sealed seams, both of which add up to a tough tie! The bottom is also reinforced with an extra UVI coating for that extra protection. You can't beat that! Don't leave that hot rod under a cheap made tarp that won't protect it. Think of how much that paint job cost!

Silver poly tarps weight are based on a measurement called a Denier. A silver poly tarp weigh 6.0 ounces per square yard. With this weight, you have a tensile strength of 1200 denier. A premium quality poly tarp that weighs 12.0 ounces and have a tensile strength of 1600 denier and are 12 mil in thickness. Denier is a unit of measure regarding the linear mass density of fibers. Basically, the higher the denier count, the greater the tensile strength. The mil measures the diameter of things like threads in a sheet or metal wire. Silver poly tarps are made to be tough

Because the outer material of the silver poly tarp is made with black mesh material inside it giving the silver poly tarp features that include being the coolest and most reflective of tarps. Unlike other tarps that are different colors, the silver poly tarp will not let any light pass through and thus protecting the contents under with outstanding results.
