If you do not feed your Dog bones on a very regular basis then you need to clean your Dogs Teeth.

It is not as strange as it sounds and is done by more and more owners.

This is because many Dog owners are becoming aware of the vast expense involved if your Dog gets Dental problems. Vet bills are extremely high if you need to have work done on your Dogs mouth. Apart from the costs involved there is also the issue of the discomfort and pain your Dog will eventually be in if you do not clean its Teeth.

added to this is the very bad breath many Dogs have. This is because their Teeth are not clean. How to clean Dogs Teeth is not difficult, and once you have practised a few times you will find it a very quick and easy duty to perform.

Cleaning Dogs Teeth is much like cleaning our own Teeth. Normally, however, you will use a small, specialist Toothbrush designed for Dogs. They are very inexpensive and easy to use. Along with this you will use a special Dog Toothpaste. Never use Human Toothpaste as it is dangerous for Dogs Health.

To begin with you will lift the Lip on one side of the Dog and simply brush that side as you would your own Teeth. Then repeat on the other side. It sounds simple, and once performed a few times it is. It just take s a little practise to be able to perform it in a few minutes. Brush every day for a week to get your Dog used to it. After that you may simply brush every few days or a minimum of twice a week.

You may feel like this is something you did not have to do, but you will be doing your Dog an njustice if you do not keep its Teeth clean. Their breath will improve dramatically in a short space of time and you will be saving yourself a lot of expense in the future.

In total you are looking at less than ten minutes a week to care for your Dogs Teeth so get started as son as you can. You will wonder why you did not perform it sooner.

By the way, from a few inquiries, it seems that the best flavor for Dog Toothpaste is Chicken!
