Still remember when I was a high school student. I Literally lived on line, surfing the Internet nights and days, learning HTML, meeting all kinds of people, using all kinds of search engines, trying to find relevant information. Those days I learned one very important thing, without search engines and their robots, Internet is a wasteland.

That was a period of Mozila browsers and Yahoo search engine. They were perfect. Quick, relevant and always on line. Then, the AltaVista became popular, the Queen of search engines in late 90's. Those were the days. Search engines continued to dominate on line, becoming a start pages on almost every computer. People loved them.

Then came Google.
New technologies, new approach, new crawlers and robots, new „search the net" era. In a short time, Google succeeded to over grow all search engines that were on the market, including his biggest opponent Yahoo, the Great one. Yahoo was the biggest player around until Google arrived. Better, stronger, smarter and more profitable search engine.

Yahoo today.
Yahoo wants to take back the crown from its opponent Google and he tends to be the best player around. In my humble opinion, he deserves it. Maybe the technology and engine that he uses is slightly different then Google's, but one of the great advantages is that he uses Google's database of indexed websites. Once, Yahoo was the best search engine around, he was pioneer of web searching. Maybe the future is not so different then the past.

Yahoo tomorrow.
Ads with sense are better then Adsense (great). Yahoo outsources Google's database of websites (almost perfect). Yahoo's search requests are very close to Google's, in some aspects, even better.

„Welcome to the all-new Yahoo! It's made for you."
I surf the Internet over and over again, every day for business, fun, kids... Since the new yahoo came on line, my homepage changed, it points to yahoo. It is time to move back to Yahoo.
