Even Verna from the sedan segment comes with the automatic transmission. Hyundai is also planning to bring a variant exclusively for the physically challenged.
Mahindra & Mahindra, the Indian based car manufacturer, also launched the automatic version of Scorpio in 2008. Powerful 2.2 litre mHawk engine is mated with a 6-speed automatic gearbox and the. M&M’s flagship model Scorpio gets the credit of being the first Indian car brand and also the first SUV to be equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
