When you want to get away on holiday but you don't want or need a big, fancy hotel with all of the amenities, you might want to consider camping instead. It's come a very long way from where it used to be, and more and more people are enjoying it as something different and fun that won't break the bank. You can camp completely out in nature if you really want to, but you can also camp in a campground that has a lot of the amenities that you'll want, like showers, flushing toilets, restaurants, and a pool.
Many of them also have game rooms, electrical hook-ups, and other options. Still, though, you'll be sleeping in a tent. With that in mind you want to find a tent that's comfortable and that you can handle. Putting it up and taking it down shouldn't be a chore, and it should be compact enough to carry easily and large enough when assembled to accommodate you and whoever else is coming along. Big groups, though, will require more than one tent. There are three specific tents that are really great for camping, and these are the Trango 2, the Space Station, and the Stiletto 1. If you're much more serious about mountaineering, you might want to try the Trango 2, which holds two people, doesn't weigh much more than the Stiletto 1, and costs around two hundred and fifty pounds. The Space Station is by far the largest of the three tents. It's also a mountaineering tent that can handle any season, has three doors, and can sleep up to fifteen people. Weighing in at fifty-four pounds, this particular tent isn't for the faint of heart. It's also not for the faint of wallet, costing just under three thousand pounds. If you have a large group who goes camping a lot, the group can pay for the tent and keep the per person cost down, which can make it a great way to take a holiday in the future.
