Here’s the scene….new, up-and-coming interior designer is asked to redecorate the Governor’s mansion. This is a chance to make a name for myself, she thinks! She comes to the initial meeting, brimming with ideas, designs and fabric samples! All is going well, until they get to the “Family” room. The Governor has 5 children under the age of 10, and the Governor’s wife declares, “The Family room is really our children’s room. They love to watch The Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon, so let’s make the TV the focal point of this room…you can go from there!” What should the designer do?

She is in luck! TV lift cabinets are a designer’s dream-come-true! These cabinets enable the decorator to take the room “up a notch” in terms of design and décor! TV lift cabinets are available in hand-crafted, beautiful wood designs, which can add an element of flair and distinction to any room – even at the Governor’s mansion!

TV lift cabinets were first introduced in the luxury hotel market, offering ease and elegance to their discerning clientele. These cabinets displayed a sleek design that subtly blended with the room’s motif. Today, everyone can enjoy this unique and functional decorating innovation!

As is the case in the Governor’s mansion, the TV is a focal point for many family rooms. With the TV lift cabinet, the dilemma of “what to do with the TV” no longer exists!

Using a wall mount for the TV was not an option in the Governor’s mansion. The TV was too cumbersome for the wall. Additionally, a wall-mounted TV would have “competed” with the beautiful portraits of the 5 children already hung there! The TV required a place to be stored and protected until it was time for watching. After all, 5 children can do quite a bit of damage to a beautiful plasma screen if their sticky hands reach it!

Most TV lifts also offer a mechanized, remote control option, which enables Timmy the Toddler and Great Aunt Vera to operate the TV, easily and quietly!

The Governor’s mansion is now complete!
