A private spa or a hot tub installed on your property is something which you cannot afford to ignore. You need to be very meticulous in cleaning the spa or the hot tub and always use suitable hot tub chemicals and spa chemicals.

The cleaning of the filter is a task which one should take up on a priority basis. This is because filters tend to get clogged with minute particles and impurities which hamper the filter process and the hot tub may not get the desired clean water. Specially designed filter cleaners are available which are very easy to use. At the same time you can always search for certain accessories such as pre filter attachments which can effectively prevent foreign particles entering your spa tub. A special handheld filter cartridge cleaner with a fan nozzle and a soft comb makes cleaning the cartridge a simpler task by removing unwanted and accumulated foreign matter very effectively.

Spa covers are essential for protection, but cleaning them is equally necessary and important. The spa cover should be free of grime, dust and grease. It makes sense to opt for a special spa cover cleaner which when used, leaves a nice and clean look and feel of the spa cover. The cover cleaner should be able to form a protective layer against the UV rays and prevent the spa tub from cracking or fading too. Make sure that the spa cover cleaners do not contain silicone oils as they have a tendency to make the surface greasy on which dirt can easily settle.

Instead of using chlorine to sanitize a spa pool, bromine is a good alternative. Bromine tablets can be used in the spa tub through a bromine feeder. There are certain advantages of using Bromine tablets over chlorine – mainly it does not emit a harsh smell like chlorine does while performing well at high temperatures too.

Spa chemicals and hot tub chemicals are formulated with great care and experience which ensure no harm or damage to the spa tub, its equipment and other related accessories. At the same time they do not cause damage to the user’s body and skin too.

Under all circumstances, regular maintenance with the use of suitable spa chemicals and hot tub chemicals ensures the spa or the hot tub is in impeccable condition and ready to use any time and all the time.
