Lincoln's modifications to all-new Lincoln MKZ seem outstanding to make the audience adore the car. The latest from Lincoln was given a fresh look, Duratec 35 V-6 engine paired with a premium 6-speed transmission, and a 'next-level' feel. This is in response to the new generation of drivers who are looking for vivacious, stunning and high-performance cars to cater to modern day driving needs and demands.

Al Giombetti, president, Ford, Lincoln Mercury Marketing and Sales says, "Customer demand for Lincoln's mid-size luxury sedan has exceeded our expectations. We have taken a brand-new, well-received car and significantly improved it to draw a new generation of customers to the Lincoln brand. Judging by reaction in the showroom, customers are clearly ready for an American entry-level luxury sedan," Giombetti added.

The V-6 engine from Ford Motor Company was incorporated to MKZ to deliver 250 horsepower and 240 pounds-foot of torque. This results to a confident, comfy and smooth ride. High-quality Lincoln auto parts are also built in the system of MKZ to create a car that will not only add confidence to the rider but will also secure safety and comfort.

"Our new 3.5-liter V-6 coupled with an advanced 6-speed automatic provides an innovative solution for better fuel efficiency, more refinement, more power and clean emissions, without any sacrifices," says Barb Samardzich, Ford vice president of Powertrain Operations.

Ford's Personal Safety System™, which is made up of highly advanced safety technologies, was used to design the features of the car. This is to manage energy in case of a crash. Air bags, three-point safety belts at all seating positions, pretensioners and retractors were also included in the car for added safety. Aside from that safety curtain can also be used for head protection.

Understated elegance is also part of the package. Peter Horbury, executive director, North American Design says, "The figured maple gives the interior a fresh and exciting look. The dark ebony is classic elegance for a traditional sense of luxury. The satin nickel, with its lightly raised ribbing, is technical and modern. We were able to establish three completely different ambient settings through use of these materials."
