Tithing, Opening Your Doors Of Prosperity

Tithing is giving 10% of all you get or earn to God. Tithe is given to the house of God, not a charity organization or to the needy. In Malachi 3, God is lamenting on how we have been robbing Him. He is asking, can man rob God, yet we have in tithes and offerings. To start with, how do you rob your creator, the maker of that which you are taking from him. This has been happening for we no longer have the fear of God in our hearts. We go on and do things that do not please God knowingly not caring of how much we are hurting our relationship with Him. How do you expect to steal from Him then go on and ask Him to bless you. Can it really work? I don’t think so.

God wants us to enjoy prosperity but at the same time, he wants to make sure that we do not forget that he is the giver and maker of everything. That is why he asks us to tithe, to keeps us in check. The good thing is, he already gives us a promise out of our obedience. He will open up the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing we will not have room to receive. If we do not tithe, we will never be able to get out of lack. We will always be struggling in all that we do instead of letting God work out things for us.

The life of a giver is stress free. Even when you do not have, you are not worried for you know that God will provide. He has never gone against his word and he watches over it until it comes to pass. He is the one who said that we test him in giving tithes, do it today and see if anything will change in your life. Unless you give your tithes to another god, expect definite changes in your life. You will have more peace, favor and grace from God.
