I am talking about building your own solar panels and wind generators. You may think that is the realm of the engineer, or scientist, but it is not. You can build them in your garage, or your back yard from materials easily available from your local hardware store, or that can even be salvaged for free from a number of sources. They can be built in your garage, but I would highly recommend taking the units outside to get maximum efficiency.
With a simple set of plans, and some time, almost anyone, no mater how mechanically inclined or not, can build their own solar and or wind power plants to tower their home, vacation home, hunting cabin, workshop, or tool shed. No more paying commercial rates to power your workshop. Also if you produce enough juice, some of the electric companies will purchase the energy from you at market rate. This can mean a substantial check arriving every month, for as long as the units are operating.
I am John, just a regular guy who knows a little about green power. I have a squidoo lens on the subject at http://www.squidoo.com/Wind-Generators-and-Solar-Panels
