I got my iPhone at the beginning of the year 2008. beginning user of the cell phone, I knew little on ways to apply the series of software available on iPhone. I bought the cell phone because like other women, I was attracted by the great exterior appearance of the
cell phone. For quite a long time, I didn't realize how bright the mobile phone could be and used the handset only for short messages and phone calls while occasionally taking some pictures with the high quality digital camera. Until one day, I learnt from another iPhone lover that I have much more ways to make use of my iPhone and I started to try every possible approach to benefit from the handset. The following come several small tips for iPhone new users.
Screen destop capture: Press the home button and side button at the top at the same time and quickly, and you will hear a camera shutter sound. Then go into your photo album, you will find the image there.
Shorcut access to iPod player: When your iPhone is in the unlocked state, press twice the home button quickly and you will see the iPod player on the top side of the screen. You can choose to play or stop the player. And you can also select to play the last song or the next song by pressing the double-arrow on the two ends of the 'on' and 'off' button.
Shortcut access to home/favourites/iPod: First, opt for the part you wish can be accessed with a shortcut key. Click 'Settings', then choose 'General' and click 'Home Button', there you will meet three choices for the shortcut key function: favourites, iPod and home. Select any of them, and when your iPhone is in the unlocked condition, you can enter into the area you have chosen with a simple double-click. For example, I select 'Favourites' as my home button and when I want to make a phone call to a person I call often, I just need to click twice the home button. This shortcut key function is really helpful for our cell phones!
Airplane mode: In 'Settings', you can see the 'Airplane Mode' setting. If you don't want to get short messages or phone calls, whether when you are sleeping or at your meeting time or on any else occasion, make the 'Airplane Mode' in the 'on' state, then you cellular phone will be disconnected with any communication signal. Then your cell phone becomes a sheer gadget only for entertainment like music player, calendar, etc. And the great advantage is: when you are on the plane, you no longer have to turn off your cellular phone for security consideration. By simply turning on the 'Airplane Mode', you can keep on enjoying songs, games or other applications with you iPHone as you like.
Wireless network capacity: It is simple. Just turn on the Wi-Fi function in 'Settings', and wherever you go, the known networks will be joint automatically. If no recognizable networks are spotted by the phone but wireless network is provided there, you will be asked to join the network. Sometimes you may need to ask the owner of the place for the password to join the wireless network. Do as it is required. Then you can enjoy Internet surfing without a PC
