In our world, colors blend, thanks to Blendy Pens you can blend them too! Shading, colours and practical backgrounds come to life before your eyes every time you dive into a box of BlendyPens. A rainbow in a box!

Blendy Pens are the sole pens that work just like regular markers but can also be fused together to make over 276 dazzling color combinations! Shading, colours and realistic backgrounds come to life before your eyes everytime you dive into a box of Blendy Pens™.

We're about halfway thru the summer. And it's right around this time each summer when the children start whining about there being nothing to do. This week we attempt to find them "something to do" with our recent "Does It Work?" product.

Blendy Pens guarantee fifteen color combos. We'll skip the mathematics but tell you you get 6 different marker colours. The concept is to blend them together with "fusion" as the makers call it.

We rounded up 4 youngsters to check the Blendy Pens. The six colored markers come paired together already...snapped together with the "fusion chamber" connecting them. You also get some artwork to color.

All the children helping us have seen the Blendy Pensin commercials, so not only do they know how the work, their expectancies are fairly high.

To make them work you select 2 Blendy Pen colours and put the tips, facing each other in the color fusion chamber. You give the pens a twist and that forces the felt tips to touch. The pen on top bleeds or "fuses" its color into the pen on bottom. It takes about 5 seconds.

We had red ink leaving a yellow marker, but not much mixing. Later we learned to paint with the felt tip lying on its side. That would give us some "blend" for a little bit, but wore off swiftly. And the sideways coloring truly did not come naturally for these kids.

I could not help but notice they kept coloring with them.

How to form Color Fusion

Place two Blendy Pen colours into the Color Fusion Chamber - tips facing each other. Make sure you push the Blendy Pens all the way into the Color Fusion Chamber.

With a firm grip, hold joined Blendy Pens in a vertical position. Twist each pen for 5 seconds in opposite directions. The longer you hold the more intense the color fusion. The Blendy Pen on top will donate color to the Blendy Pen on the bottom!

Now the bottom Blendy Pen, charged with the top pen´s color, is prepared to blend!.
