Don Sneaker Collection from Kanye West & Louis Vuitton

In January this news that Kanye would collaborate with Louis Vuitton on a sneaker collection hit the fashion world. People expect that they would create a masterpiece as Air Yeezy which Kanye together with Nike released. The Kanye with Louis Vuitton entire collecton features a number of shoes named after members of Kanye’s entourage including Don C., Ibn Jasper, and G.O.O.D. Music artist, Mr. Hudson. Here is a look at the Don collection.

The Kanye West x Louis Vuitton “Don” Collection will included a low model, called the Don Low, and a high top model, which we’re assuming will be called the Don High. The Don Low will be available in a solid red colorway, a solid black colorway, and a brown / beige / pink / white colorway. As for the high top model, there will be a solid white version, solid black version, and a off-white / brown / pink colorway. Both the Don Low and the High top model sport a quilted flap on the back heel and leather tassels on the laces. Among them my favorite one is the solid red colorway featuring a streamlined, classic silhouette, with the exception of an over-size, quilted heel tap. The back heel sports a quilted flap that’s said to be inspired by the collar of a jacket worn in the sci-fi movie Dune, an interlocking Louie Vuttion “LV” symbol is placed on the tongue, and LV monograms appear on the back portion of the midsole.

Louis Vuitton fans, Kanye West fans and sports fans, it would be a perfect choice for you. The Kanye West x Louis Vuitton will be released in the market in June, 2009. The price is estimated to be $600.
