Manganese is a mineral found in green leafy plants, nuts, pineapple, seeds, wheat and tea, raisins, egg yolks, ginseng, hops, raspberry and many other plants. It can aid in the effectiveness of Vitamin E and Vitamin B and glucosamine. Manganese is used by the body in order to utilize these vitamins by activating certain enzymes that the body uses in digestion. Manganese has antioxidant properties as well as being an aid to other antioxidants and can help snatch up those free radicals which tend to float around the body damaging our cells.
