They’re numerous locations that you can get unique tattoo designs. Some of these locations are somewhat frank while others are not equally obvious.
I've spent hours of research when getting my own tattoos, so I want to let you know some of the great places that I was able to find some awesome ideas for my tattoos.
1. Tattoo Parlor - Now this is fairly apparent when you think about it, but many people forget about this place. Tattoo shops catalog pictures of all the finished tattoos that they do. They usually take the image of the finished tattoo and place it in an album or somewhere in the shop where people can easily see it.
This is awesome for somebody searching for a tattoo idea, because you will understand what the finished tattoo looks like and how good the completed tattoo looks on skin.
2. Picture and Image Search Engines - My downright best-loved place to acquire some tattoo ideas are image and picture search engines.
Websites like Flickr.com and Google Images are image search engines where you can type in the type of tattoo you are seeking for and a few seconds after it will pop up images that are related to your search.
3. Tattoo Forum - A tattoo forum is a place online where those interested in tattoos gather and discuss tattoos. In my experience they have a wide range of users, from people considering their first tattoo to those with many tattoos.
These forums also contain many wonderful tattoo albums with fellow members’ tattoos on show. Tattoo buffs in the forum are always uploading their completed tattoos for people to look at. These forums are definitely a good resource for some cool tattoo ideas.
