Naples is in the locality of Long Beach, California. The town is located on the beautiful islands in Alamitos Bay. This beautiful town encompasses three stunning islands, separated by canals. These canals lead to the bay. These canals include the huge Rivo Alto Canal (semi circular in shape) and the straight Naples canal. Whether it's the boat parade or the county view, the place will not let you down.

But Naples was not like this some two hundred years ago. The area where Naples enjoys was once granted in California. This is one of the first grants in California. However, the oldest grants consist of a land owned by Fred Bixby. This is where Bixby Knolls stands today, in the vicinity of Naples.

Naples has an Italian influence. Even the streets have typical Italian names. The city center is emphatically marked with a beautiful eye catching fountain. This is an attractive meeting point. Every year, millions of tourists visit Naples for that interesting Gondola ride. The gondola is a conventional, flat bottom boat, first discovered in Venice. This rowing boat looks royal and classy. It's fun to have a gondola ride. The long beach, in the neighborhood of Naples, offers some great gondolier trips. These rides are adventurous as well as romantic as the canals offer a magnificent view. This is one of the most superb beaches to have a gondola ride on. The Belmont Shore around the Alamitos Bay, Naples, is beautiful. This place is also home to the Belmont Shore team called the Rugby Union.


The Naples boat parade, popularly known as the Naples Spirit, the joy of giving, is the key attraction of this place. This parade makes the place so popular. This event is held on the second Saturday in the month of December every year. The Gondola Gateway attracts thousands of people to view the parade through the Naples canals. The adorned gondolas add spice to the event. This parade can be categorized into the Small Boat Parade and the Long boat Parade. It is great to see that waterways are a source of great fun and entertainment for so many people. The craze for this event is incomparable.
