Teach Me Skateboard Tricks - The Top 3 Skateboard Tricks You Can Learn Today!

Many people email me daily from my blog, and the usual theme I see people asking me is 'teach me skateboarding tricks please!'.

I guess it is no surprise that tricks not only look cool and can really impress anyone watching you do them, but they also help to improve your boarding skills as well, which is probably why so many people want to know how to learn skateboard tricks.

But what skateboard tricks are the best? Which ones can you pick up pretty quickly and get going with? Fortunately I have decided to compile my top 3 here:

1.) Fire cracker

This skateboard trick is awesome and is not that difficult to master - the only pre-requisite is that I will assume you can board pretty well and can also go down stairs. To do the fire cracker, just board down some stairs as you normally do, but shift your bodyweight onto your back foot, forcing the board tail down onto the steps so that it hits them on the way down - this makes the cool noise and looks great.

2.) Bombdrop

I love this one :) All you need to do is perform a basic Ollie, but at the top of the Ollie you need to grab the board with your hands and bring it up against the bottom of your feet. This one takes a bit of agility but shouldn't take too long to master.

3.) Kick flip

This is probably the most difficult of the 3 tricks I have described here, but looks awesome. Again, start of with an Ollie but at the top of your airtime you need to kick the board with your foot so that it spins a full circle. Then you land back in the same position as you started and continue forwards. This looks very cool when done right!
