This has been a challenging target for Ambulance Trusts, but one that is important in improving the care provided to patients, as faster response times can save lives. The operators said they are facing a crisis because many ambulance services are going out of business and that those that remain are unable to pick up the slack in neighboring communities.

An advisory council on emergency response decided that it would send a delegation to the House Public Safety and Judiciary Committee during next year legislative session.

These targets are tougher but we make no apologies for that. Reaching patients quickly in an emergency saves lives that are why it is right that we continue to challenge the service to respond to calls as fast as possible.

USA Ambulance Services are a vital part of any regional emergency medical service system. The air transport system provides the critical link between local health care facilities and regional referral centers. Because of the speed of both fixed and rotary wing aircraft, the special equipment on board the aircraft and the special skills of the medical crew, air ambulance transports typically involve the most critically ill or injured patients within the health care system.

According to the memorandum of agreement between the county and the eight fire departments that also previously billed individually, the county keeps track of how much money it collects on behalf of the volunteer companies. The companies then apply to use the money for specific, emergency transportation related items such as training and vehicles.

As with any component of the emergency medical service system, each air ambulance service must have a single party or body that is responsible for the oversight of all aspects of medical care provided by the service. This is the responsibility of the medical director of each air medical service. For more Details visit http://www.yellowcone.com
