Many host companies sell unlimited space which is an unethical approch. No host company has unlimited space. A dedicated server cost several hundreds dollar which is around 160 gb space. Again server should not consume more than 75% space to run it smoothly. If the low rate reseller has 100 customers then he can not provide more than 1 gb to each customer. Customer cannot understand this dirty sales tricks because most of the customers do not conume really huge space. So it is better for customer to ask for a maximum space instead of unlimited.

Many host companies in the internet arte selling unlimited space and bandwidth at a very low price. Infact it is an unethical approach of web host companies.

Well, they are surviving even after unethical approach because customers do not understand their dirty sales tricks. Again most of the customers do not need really huge space. Most website consumes 25 mb space. So they cannot understand what will happen if they could really consume space of several gb.

SO WHAT CUSTOMERS SHOULD DO?
To avoid any problem in future even after buying unlimited package it is beeter to know what is the maximum space customer can get. As I said a reseller may have a dedicated server of 160 gb. Again the server should not consume more than 75% space to get its speed ok. So if the low rate reseller has 100 customers they can not provide more than 1 gb to a customer. Therefore customer should ask the maximum space instead of unlimited.
