The story is different for each of us, but the result is regularly the same. Yes ...We are allways captured by an experience. We are drawn into a compelling story. We increase to challenges and cope with death with courage. We win and we lose. We practice for hours and hours. We save our world and countless other worlds not in this solar scheme again and again. We are heroes, and we are villains. We are athletes, soldiers, Pokemon trainers, an Italian plumbing Duo, puzzle solvers, musicians, and more than you can imagine. We are gamers.
I grew up as a kid only playing the very old atari game system just like everybody else my age and of course by the time Nintendo came out I was well over video games. After all when you work who has time for games right? My kids however did have Nintendo game system for the plain fact that they were kids and each youngster needs a game system to keep them company from time to time. My son came home from school one day though with this bag full of super nintendo video games that he had bought from his supporter with his allowance.
He tried to put one in his game method which of course was like demanding to put a square peg in a around hole, and as I watched my son's face turn from a smile to a frown I knew what I had to do. He had the same idea however as he looked up at me with his beautiful blue eyes and said "Hey Dad, can we get a innovative game system so i can take part in my supernintendo video games?" I of course couldn't say no.
I went with him the next day early in the morning to the game store and bought his super nintendo, and due to the fact that he was only 10 I set it up for him and watched him fool around for a few minutes. I couldn't believe the graphics of this new game system. It was like nothing I had ever seen. I as you can probably estimate was soon playing his super Nintendo video games with him and actually even bought another brand new system for the living room. So all the family can play
Just because of my lovely son and his super nintendo video games I have since bought ever new gaming system that has hit the marketplace and we even though he is in his 20's now still have a blast with our games. Believe it or not but my wife and daughter join in as well. However, when everything is said and done we still return to the same old super nintendo system and we still remember the day when he looked at me and said "Dad can we pick up a new game classification so I can perform my super nintendo video games?"
