The ancient art of Chinese astrology has been guiding people to their goals for thousands of years. The horoscope reveals hidden meanings and a destiny that can help you to find purpose in your life. This is done by first uncovering what your Chinese astrology symbols are.

Chinese astrology uses the twelve animals of the horoscope to help them guide people to their chosen destiny. The symbols work along with the sun and the moon in order to serve as a representation of human culture.

The symbols

The story behind the symbols states that the ancient gods held a race with every animal on earth represented. At the end of the race there were twelve animals left standing and they were said to be the best and the strongest. Those animals are now used to represent Chinese astrology.

Rat: This symbol is said to be the same as many of the ancient Chinese emperors. People who share this symbol are said to be practical and dominant minded. You may want to look out for the rat since they can be extremely cruel and of dangerous nature.

Ox: These people are supposed to be a very sincere person who wears their heart on their sleeve.

Tiger: One of the best friends that you can have is anyone who shares this symbol. They fight hard to maintain lasting friendships.

Rabbit: Held by many political officials, this symbol represents problem solvers who like to maintain a great deal of stability in their lives.

Dragon: The most prolific symbol in the Chinese culture proves itself to be smart and strong.

Snake: Known for being wise, the snake symbol represents someone who cares a lot about physical appearance. They adapt well to change and love new things.

Horse: They are brave and strong creatures who have a defensive side that sometimes gets in the way of their relationships.

Sheep: Artistic and caring are the words that best describe this symbol.

Monkey: Natures scientists, the monkey tends to analyze the world around them. They have a need for control and want to be in charge of everything and everyone in their lives.

Rooster: They love attention and will do anything to gain it. The rooster is always strutting around showing their feathers.

Dog: They are a charismatic creature who draws people in easily. The dog will be loyal to the end and value the relationships that they form.

Pig: They enjoy living away from the hustle and bustle of the city. They have a kind heart and will stand behind you no matter what.

The other symbols on the Chinese astrological chart are the Yin and Yang which help you create harmony in your life. The chart uses the natural elements of nature to divide the cycle. By using these symbols you will be able to find out what the future holds for you.
