Motorola MAXX V6 is another perfect phone in the Motorola Razr line. It works with both the 2G and 3G networks, so it is easy for you to get connected wherever work or pleasure brings you.

Motorola MAXX V6 has dimensions of 104x53x15mm with a weight of 105g. For a high-end clamshell mobile phone like this, the size and weight is decent and respectable. The V6 sports 2.2-inch TFT screen with 240 x 320 pixels which may display 256k colours. It also has a second external 65k display with a resolution of 120x160 pixels and measuring 1.3 inches. This flip phone has a lot of features packed in its slim design.

If you need to stay connected via messaging services, then the MAXX V6 can help you with that particular task. Motorola provides you with three different messaging media in the MAXX V6. EMS or enhanced messaging, Multimedia messaging, instant messaging and text messaging are all included with this particular phone. You also have email support in SMTP, POP3 and IMAP. The MAXX V6 comes with a 50MB internal memory with an option to expand it up to 2GB through the card slot provided. Predictive text input is also featured on this phone. For voice commands, you have speaker phone, voice recording and voice dialing. There are also other features that are present.


Bluetooth connectivity is also included with a WAP 2.0 Opera browser for internet connection. USB is also featured with the V6. For those on the go, you have a barcode reader, world clock, alarm, calculator and calendar as part of the organizational features of this phone. Your phone book allows for multiple numbers and picture ID as well as ring ID. For fun and games, you have games already preprogrammed with the capacity to download more games including JAVA games. The camera included with this phone is a 2.0 megapixel with flash, digital zoom and video capture. You can also do video calls on this Motorola mobile.

For music lovers a music player is included that will play the following formats, AMR, AAC, WMA, MP3, AAC+, WAV and eAAC+. For sounds you have a vibration alert along with MP3 ringtones. This is not a smart phone per se, but it has the features that you need. Another extra bonus is the music player can show the playing progress on the external display which add a nice feel to it.


Motorola V6 is powered by a standard Li-lon 940mAh which according to the manufacturer will provide you with up to 375h standby time and up to 3h talk time.

While Motorola MAXX V6 doesn’t have a lot of features comparable to the rest of the RAZR line, it is still a good phone for the money. Most users rated the V6 an 80 out of 100 which is in the good category. The MAXX V6 has been rated on functionality, design and ease of use. With the global roaming, you will be able to keep in touch no matter where in the world that you go.

So for a phone that gives you good features at a reasonable price, the MAXX V6 is the right phone for you. While it may not be a high end user phone, it is still a phone to be reckoned with. No matter where you go in Europe, you will be able to keep connected no matter if you are at work or at leisure. With the Motorola name, you have the high quality phones at a reasonable price.
