HTC Touch Cruise 09 Review

The HTC Touch Cruise 09 is a great all round performer from HTC. It weighs around 103 grams and measures 102 mm x 53.5 mm x 14.5 mm. The screen is a decent 2.8 inches and of course is a touch screen. Just beneath the screen is a massive navigational pad which is circular in shape, and has a few touch-sensitive keys around it (mainly call related). The HTC Touch Cruise 09 is only available in black.

There is a music player on the HTC Cruise 09 that will support most popular music formats. Internal memory is good with 256 mega bytes which will hold plenty of songs. However this can be increased by using a MicroSD card. HTC for some reason have not included a radio on the Cruise 09. Sound quality is decent enough for most people’s use.
The camera on the Touch Cruise has 3.2 mega pixels and a focus feature. Picture quality is good and the camera is easy to use. HTC have also included HTC footprints, which works the same way that geo-tagging works, in that it tags each picture with the location at which it was taken. You will also be able to leave notes on each photo, which is quite clever and useful.
The HTC Touch 09 Cruise is made with applications in mind. Apart from the basics there is also GPS which works wit Google Maps. There is a document viewer (for viewing pdf, word, excel and powerpoint), and instant messenger. The internet connectivity is also excellent with GPRS, EDGE, wifi and 3G, and you can even pair your mobile phone with a third party device (or other phone) using Bluetooth.

In summary the HTC Touch Cruise 09 is a great addition to the HTC family. It looks great, has decent features and the internet connection is superb.
