HONEST PARENTING

PARENTING: WHICH ROAD DO I HAVE TO TAKE TO REAR A GOOD CHILD?

Proper parenting skills is a major requirement in this lifelong preparation process, you have to be sure that you are equipped with good ones.

THE PROCESS OF BEING A NEW PARENT

This is the only path that will lead you to self-comfort most especially in those difficult situations that you are most likely to face in the future with your offspring. This may probably take you a lifetime of endless learning, rejoicing and even suffering before you may be successful. What is important is that keep in mind that you should never give up.

PARENTING AS A NEVER-ENDING JOB

Parenting a child takes a lifetime. They have to be taught how to take on responsibilities for their action and take whatever consequences (from making bad decisions) that it brings them. Just because they are taller than you doesn't mean that they are more matured and ready for anything that this world can offer them.

TEACH YOUR KIDS SELF-RELIANCE

Things like carrying their own plates from the table to your dishwasher, placing items into the grocery cart (only with adult supervision), these are simple and excellent ways for your child to begin learning self-reliance. Most of the time, it is out of your own desire for materialistic pressures, or to be liked, and sometimes fervent wish that your child may be spared of the things that you did not experience. As a parent, you would want to do your best to give them nothing but the best of everything. By allowing your child to experience his/her life to its fullest on their terms within safe boundaries and with a fair level of responsibility is considered the greatest gift to give your child.

MAKE MEMORIES WITH QUALITY FAMILY TIME

Be sure to keep the conversations inspirational and on an upbeat tone. Talking about negative topics about the news or anything that is unpleasant should not be done while dining together. You do not need major makeovers in starting to increase your quality time that you and your family spend together.

COMMON CHILD AND PARENT PROBLEMS

Sometimes we are trying to guide our children to the best of our knowledge by reliving our very own childhood/teen years and the truth of the matter is that we haven't really moved forward to the present time. Being a parent means that you may have some misgivings, that is just one part of it. There is no use in going back down your memory lane (your own school days) if you want to try to help your child with their homework, you will just probably find yourself lost and not even understand, since even all of the teaching methods nowadays have changed.
