You can find many holiday parks that offer sites for pitching up a tent, allowing you to have the freedom to experience in your own way, what you want to eat and take part in. Whilst you can have the relaxation of the beautiful beaches and famous sites you can also experience the beautiful nature of the woodlands, mountains, rivers and general countryside that are ethnically true to which ever destination you may choose.
The self-catering aspect need not to be considered an issue either as whilst you can explore the various restaurants and cafe's etc you can also visit markets and stores that will supply you with traditional foods ready for you to prepare and experience whatever meal you may want to.
