Audi is one of the aspirational brands in the world. Just like the Mercedes's AMG and BMW's M series of cars, Audi's performance offering is RS (Originally stands for Rally Sport). Audi's A7 boasts of design and styling that is second to none. When A7 is injected with steroids and becomes the fastest production car from Audi, it turns into this beast, which is called RS7 by Audi. If A7 makes your head turn once, then RS7 demands for more. Especially in its matte black avatar, with wider air intakes and flared wheel arches, the car looks muscular and hyper fast even when it is stand still. This car is powered by a 4.0 L V8 twin turbo petrol engine that churns out 560 bhp of power and 700 Nm of torque. These figures also translates into the way the car performs unlike a few others.

This engine takes the car from stand still to 100 kmph mark in under 5 seconds. So, what is the big deal here? The big deal is, this car nearly weighs two tons. Hence it really is very fast. The top speed is electronically limited to 250 kmph. You can however upgrade it to 280 and 300 kmph upon request. What you also get more from this machine is that, you can enjoy all this sport car like performance in the lap of some serious luxury. At around 1.4 crores ex showroom Delhi, this car is really pricey. Even running this car will be impossible if your pockets are not deep enough. This car returns around 4 kmpl of petrol.

The car is appointed with Bang and Olufsen audio system but the engine note that always travels with you is much more interesting to listen. Once you get your hands on the wheels of this mammoth, you should really be insane to be driven around. Still, if you prefer to be chauffeured around, this car offers immense luxury in the backseat.

When it comes to driving, this car is a pleasure to drive. The 8 speed dual clutch ZF gear box makes sure you are always in the right gear and prevents you from taking the trouble of using the paddle shifters. The only downlink in this car is the steering, which feels numb without sufficient feedback for a car of this class. The best part though is you can adjust individual components to the setting of your choice. Some to dynamic and some to comfort. The best, however, is to set up the steering and suspension to comfort and the engine and gearbox to dynamic. Indian roads fails to do justice for the car and setting up everything to dynamic makes the car too slippery. The Quattro however, ensures amazing overall grip levels at all times. RS7 is relatively very new to get listed in the used car market but we have a huge inventory of super cars listed in our used car app.

No one can taste RS7 just once. You will be pulled back for more. This definitely will make the job of the marketing folks at Audi easy. Browse our app or web to check out our amazing selection of supercars on Droom!
