Can the Average Person Create a Successful Online Business?

Online there are literally millions of people looking for
ways to start a home business. Out of these millions very
few will become financially successful from home.

WHY?

Because online everything is instant. You get instant
Ebooks, instant free reports and instant software downloads.

You get everything now... and people believe they can get
instant success online too.

But, it's not really their fault. They believe this for a
very good reason.

There are thousands of ads promising big money in 30 days
with absolutely no work. They promise new cars... tons of
cash and instant Internet success. They claim to know the
"secret" and they'll give it to you for a measly $47.

These scammers are promising anything and everything just to
make a sale. And once you plink down your hard earned cash
you'll never hear from them again.

Folks that's just not possible. There's no such beast as
instant success. If you fall into that trap you ARE DOOMED
TO FAILURE.

Now just as disturbing, and on the opposite end of the
mis-information spectrum, I'm seeing reports indicating that
the average person can't become successful online. That it
takes a special breed of person to succeed on the Internet.

HogWash!

That's like saying an average person can't become successful
with a McDonald's franchise.

Or...

An average person can't open a successful Hobby Shop.

Listen up... an online business is no different than a
locally owned McDonald's franchise... period.

The only real differences is it takes just a few hundred
dollars to get started online... compared to tens of
thousands of dollars it takes to open a franchise.

And that is one of the problems online today.

It's so cheap and easy to get a website that it's just as
easy to quit. When the quitters don't make their million in
the first 30 to 60 days they give up and cut their losses.

And that happens everyday online.

Then... there are others saying... "You must have one of my
new fanged websites. It has all the bells and whistles
you'll ever need. If you want to succeed you just got to
have one."

"That will be $5,000 please."

No... it's not the flashy website... nor the fancy HTML
Emails... that makes you money online.

People have made millions using small classified ads.

So what is the key to a successful online business?

The magic ingredient is experience. You must pay your dues
in time online. You must learn a new set of skills.

You will need to learn how to ...

1. Design a decent Website.

I know this is a tough one. There are many opinions on what
constitutes a good website. But... the best one is letting
the customers voice their opinion by opening their wallet.
If the site is making a profit then it's probably a decent
site.

Go to the sites of the top name marketers and study them.
You'll notice they are clean and uncluttered. They are
designed to do only one thing... make a sale.

2. Write a good classified ad.

There are several good Ebooks on how to write great ads.
You'll find "Classified Ad Secrets 2001" on my site. This
small Ebook will get you headed in the right direction.

3. Write good website copy.

You can learn to write good copy by studying classic sales
letters. These letters have produced millions of dollars for
their owners. Again... go to big name marketers site and
study their sales letter.

You'll find more examples in an Ebook called "Million Dollar

4. Publish a good quality Ezine.

If you want a steady income stream month after month then
you must have a good Ezine. Creating a high quality Ezine is
a difficult task and very few people have mastered it.

The main thing is just be yourself. Let your opinions and
beliefs come out in your Ezine. Write about things you know
about and have a burning desire for.

These skills will take you more then 60 days to acquire.
But, if you work on them everyday, you will notice things
beginning to improve. Your sales will increase and people
will begin asking you for advice.

And who knows... you might just be the next "big name"
marketing expert.
