We all know you can find a lot of crazy devices out there so let's take a look at some of the latest additions.

I want to start with some of my favorite: The Star Wars mimobot USB drives! Featuring Chewbacca, R2-D2, Darth Vader and Stormtrooper the drives have a storage capacity of 1, 2 or 4 GB and come in a limited series of 2.500 or 3.500 per character. The drives come already loaded with Star Wars content as wallpapers, trailers and many more!

The Angus Noble Indium Smart Flashlight is as weird as it's name. Why would one need a programmable flashlight? one might ask. Well if you ever felt the need to adjust the Gamma Correction for the power curve or the rate of fade now you can do just that using the neat user interface. The flashlight connects to the PC using the USB port (no surprise there). Also you can program custom text for the flashlight to transmit in Morse code. It's not what I'd call useful, it's more of a "USB rubber ducky" kind of device. And if you really want one you'll have to pay up to 350$ for it!

Star Wars fans are known to take things to the extreme. Don't take me the wrong way, I like Star Wars but not enough to buy and use this lightsaber umbrella. It might provide some light but it will also write 'geek' all over you. Only recommended if you want to make a statement.

Last but not least I give you the Binary watch. If you like using command line just because 'it's cooler that way' this is for you. What you're looking at is a 10 LED watch, set on 2 rows that indicate the following binary sequence: 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 and 32. The upper row shows the hour and the bottom line shows the minutes. They say it's easy to learn how to read the hour on such a watch and if you think about it it's not that complicated either, it's a small price to pay compared with the 'geek' effect it creates.Michael L.
