HTML How To (Legally) Spy On Your Competition! How To (Legally) Spy On Your Competition! Author: Craig GarberToday I'm going to be showing you a 100% legal way you can spy on your competition, and why, if you're not doing this, you're really missing the boat on some potentially ground-breaking earth-shattering marketing ideas. I'm writing today's tip from over on the west coast of Florida, just outside of Tampa, where my family and I will soon be relocating. And you know what? Sometimes it's refreshing to be looking at the world from a different vantage point -- you see things differently that way. You know what I mean? Are you consistently looking at your business from your customers and your clients point of view? And even more important, are you looking OUTSIDE your business for new ideas, trends, and ways to market your business? For example, purchasing goods and services from your competitiors is one of the most basic things you can do, to get new ideas for upselling... cross-selling... and back-end products. Investing your time and money in this incredibly easy way of "spying" on your competition, is a sure-fire way of keeping you on your toes... staying "hungry"... and making sure you aren't doing anything stupid. The first thing I ask all my consulting clients (and my copywriting clients for that matter) is "Who's doing things in your marketplace that's really kicking butt? What is their marketing like? Who's really shaking things up?" Look, one of my first copywriting mentors told me the easiest way to make a fortune was to find something that's working, and then just put a better spin on it using good (better) marketing. He said that's like finding a race-horse that's always coming in second and third, and then just giving it a little extra boost of "energy", and all of a sudden, now you've got a consistent winner. So start looking at your business from the outside, because you really DO see things differently when you're on the outside looking in.
