Silk market: The famous silk market of Spain is located in this building. This part of the building is believed to have been built in the 15th Century. That was the time when Valencia was bustling with enormous trade and commerce. Silk was largely produced here. For the convenience of trading, a silk market was established. Fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, etc. are sold here. Tour operators suggest that people should visit the Central Market in the mornings rather than the evenings. Church: The next building found in Plaza del Mercado is the most beautiful church. This church is known by two different names viz., Santos Juanes church and San Juan del Mercado church.
