Toyota’s auto parts supplier will invest more than $42 million to add 170,000 square feet of manufacturing space and new production equipment that is according to new release from the Indiana Economic Development Corp. Arvin Sango, Inc. produce stampings, exhaust systems, manifolds, converter systems, instrument panels, and door impact beams for Toyota. The company has currently 693 employees at its Madison facility. The Indiana Economic Development Corporation has granted Arvin Sango up to $1.5 million in performance-based tax credits based on the company’s announced job creation and capital investment plans. The city of Madison provided property tax abatement worth more than $2.6 million. Skillman said in the release, "Southern Indiana continues to be a leader in advanced manufacturing. More and more companies are recognizing that Indiana is a great place to do business, and we're glad Arvin Sango selected Indiana for this expansion." Toyota officials together with Arvin Sango have announced that the companies will donate $20,000 to Girls’ Inc. of Jefferson County. The donation is part of the Japanese automaker’s Community Connection Program which is a philanthropy program aimed at supporting non-profit organizations in the communities where the automotive manufacturer and its suppliers do business.
