You might be very confident in your product, and have put hours into making your website easily navigated for your customers. Everything seems perfect, but you're not getting traffic. Every website is going to have this problem at the beginning, it's an uphill battle, but you have to keep trying. No website becomes big overnight, they all require establishment to be successful. So, how do you get more traffic?
It's not that hard. You might not be using all of the resources which you have for internet marketing, so check out these tips.
1. Gather information about your customers. Your website is useless if you don't know about your visitors. If you are lost on this subject, try to implement a survey in your website which asks the user questions. You'd be surprised at the amount of people who will give you great suggestions!
2. Everyone likes free stuff, so give things out to customers who fill out surveys like mentioned above. It doesn't have to be expensive; you can give away a promotional pen, t-shirt, magnet, etc. Don't think about it as you giving something away, think of it as you are buying their information like their mailing address, which they are providing you to send you the promotional item.
3. All successful businesses make changes throughout the years they are in business. If you are getting feedback from your customers about changes which should be made to the site, take their consideration. Remember, you're not using the website for yourself, you're essentially selling the website to others.
4. Try to advertise using advertising services online. Many of these companies charge as low as one penny per click, which can be well worth it for you!
5. Write articles and submit them to the directories to gain valuable direct traffic and backlinks to your site!
