Sounds cool, sounds like you simply declare yourself and freelancer and money starts falling from the sky. Not so - most freelancers are barely able to eak out a living. Many are paid WELL BELOW what they are worth. A select few have made it big, but its taken them years. 2. You could pursue becoming published. Wow, your name in every bookstore in the country, the syndicated talkshow circuit, TV, Oprah, you can see it now...
