As an affiliate marketer, I found it very challenging to design a Google Adwords program that would produce a profit on a consistent basis. I found that keywords that generated traffic were too expensive. Even after optimizing my Google Ads, landing pages and website profitability was still very hard to come by.
Setting up Google Adwords is a straight forward process. In Google Adwords you create ads and choose keywords, which are words or phrases related to your business.
Your ads appear on Google when people search on Google using one of your keywords, your ad may appear next to the search results. Now you're advertising to an audience that's already interested in you.
If properly designed, targeted traffic generated because people can simply click your ad to make a purchase or learn more about you. You don't even need a webpage to get started - Google will help you create one for free.
You can even expand your reach through their content network With hundreds of thousands of high-quality websites, news pages, and blogs that partner with Google to display AdWords ads, the Google content network can reach users all over the web to help you drive conversions. Choose from text, image, and video formats to communicate your message.
Local and regional targeting are also available. You can set your ads to appear only to people searching in a particular state, city, or region. Now it's easy to target online customers within, say, 25 miles of your front door. Learn more
Another great attribute of Google Adwords is that you pay only for results. You're charged only if someone clicks your ad, not when your ad is displayed.
I feel that Google Adwords is the most powerful advertising tool available. It controls almost 50% of the total internet traffic.
As an affiliate however, my margins are normally smaller than if I were actually handling a product. Therefore, I have searched high and low for strategies to increase my profitability.
There is one proprietary strategy that I am really impressed with. This strategy is promoted as "Get Google Ads Free". Inspite of the hype, the strategy really works and makes a lot of sense. It involves generating income to off-set the PPC cost.
You can control your cost when using Google Adwords because you can set a spending limit for each day. You can set your own budget.
However, your objective should be getting as many clicks as you can without being too concerned about a budget because it will be covered.
Incorporating the above strategy in your Google Adwords advertising campaigns will substantially increase the profitability of your online business.
