HTML Are You Living for Right Now? Are You Living for Right Now? Author: Jan MallochHow many of you live for today, and don't really take much notice of what is going to happen tomorrow? Do you take one day at a time, and let each 24 hours pass you by without really achieving anything? Perhaps your life tomorrow will be much the same as it is today. There is little point therefore wasting time wondering or worrying about what the future holds. Perhaps you want the easy life, where each day just happens and you get through each day as it comes. Are you one of these people? If you are, you are certainly not alone! The vast majority of people on the Earth today do exactly that. People get up from their beds, go to work, come home, amuse themselves for a while, and then go to bed. Each day is essentially the same. Have you ever thought about what your purpose in life really is? Are you on the Earth just to sleep, work and eat? Surely, there must be more to life than that!! In the "old days", if you lived in a mining or farming community, the majority of people did the jobs that their fathers had done. It was not uncommon for women to have up to a dozen children, and people just got on with living day to day. For years now however, most of us have had the luxury of having the opportunity to look forward and plan what we want to do with our lives. We have the option to create a life that we want. The sad reality is that the majority of people haven't come to realise this simple fact. People simply don't take the opportunity to make things happen in their lives. How often have you complained about how awful your job is, or how you never have any time or money to do the things you want to do? You must take action to make changes. Complaining will not change anything. Action most definitely will. My philosophy is that we are all on Earth to reach our full potential. To really be somebody - not just exist! Sit down, think, dream, and decide on what you really want to do with the rest of your life. Make goals and take action. As you grow and achieve more, you will realise that you can make some really positive and worthwhile changes in your life! May I wish you every success for your future!
