HTML <html> <head> <title>Gifting and Seed Money</title> </head> <body> <h1>Gifting and Seed Money</h1> <div class="info">Author: <a href="author_1_120249.html">Sharon Morin</a></div><div class="body">Gifting and Seed Money in Motion=<br /> <br /> Believe it or not, not everyone wants to be a millionaire!<br /> <br /> Oh, the words coming out of their mouth may be saying<br /> that’s what they think they want but:<br /> <br /> • First of all, most people simply don’t believe that it’s<br /> possible.<br /> <br /> • Second, a million dollars is a figure most people can’t<br /> comprehend.<br /> <br /> • Third, if they’re honest about it, too few want the<br /> responsibility of it.<br /> <br /> If i did a survey most will say they want enough money to<br /> have a comfortable lifestyle, pay their bills, enough to<br /> lessen the stress of our insane economic times etc. Our<br /> happiness doesn’t come from the dollars we have, it comes<br /> from the satisfaction we feel, being able to do the things<br /> that it [money] does. Whether that’s paying a bill, sending<br /> the kids to college, helping aging parents or go on<br /> vacation. It’s simply a medium we use for exchange.<br /> <br /> You see the average American will have manually earned a<br /> million dollars in their life time. Here comes the rub,<br /> receiving, keeping, and the frequency of regenerating a<br /> million dollars, that is the key.<br /> <br /> I’ve heard the saying ‘the movement of money creates<br /> wealth’ at first I laughed and commented, ‘Yeah, it moves<br /> alright, from my hand to the bill collectors hand.”<br /> <br /> There is an obscure book written by John Hosher in 1960,<br /> titled, “Seed Money - The Law of the Tenfold Return and How<br /> it Works” and later rewritten by Jon Speller. In those<br /> writings I discovered an age old formula based of my<br /> subject of gifting and seed planting.<br /> <br /> Like ‘the Secret’ and ‘The Law of attraction’ there was<br /> also a formula that some attempted keep a secret from the<br /> masses, and that was the principles and formula behind ‘the<br /> Law of the Tenfold Return’ or ‘Seed Money’ or in today’s<br /> terms it’s called ‘Gifting’<br /> <br /> Even though there was an attempt to keep it secret, there<br /> is nothing secret about it. If you are of the Christian<br /> faith you can go to the index of your Bible and look up the<br /> words giving, gifts, receiving and you can find it in both<br /> the old and new testaments. John H also mentions that Jesus<br /> knew about seed money as told in the story of the loaves<br /> and fishes.<br /> <br /> There has been a lot of bad press on gifting programs,<br /> calling them illegal or scams. Those who would diminish<br /> this activity simply don’t ‘get it’. Perhaps, they thought<br /> it was magic, but it’s not. It is a proven formula with<br /> principles that need to be followed for one to see results<br /> from it.<br /> <br /> Giving/Gifting has been around in all societies for as long<br /> as history has been told. It has been used by individuals<br /> as well as organizations very effectively. The biggest<br /> difference in then and now has to do with attitude. In our<br /> modern society we have been lead to believe we can have<br /> something for nothing and do nothing to get something.<br /> There are NO FREE lunches!<br /> <br /> The message that John Hosher was attempting to get across<br /> with the ‘Seed Money’ formula was that it is an ‘expected<br /> return’, making it different than just giving to be<br /> righteous, or tithing. When have the opportunity to read<br /> the book you’ll note many famous and wealthy people who<br /> applied the formula and are in our history books today.<br /> <br /> The question now, is why aren’t more people practicing it?<br /> <br /> Let’s get one thing clear ‘seed money’ isn’t the ‘Law of<br /> Attraction’; even though it has similar characteristics,<br /> ‘seed money’ is a defined application. There is no mooning<br /> over, no wishin’, no hopin’, it has a formula to it.<br /> <br /> Seed Money is an expected return.<br /> <br /> John uses farmers as an example. They know what they want<br /> to harvest so they plant the like ‘seeds’. They don’t plant<br /> corn seeds and expect green beans at harvest.<br /> <br /> The parallel or common denominator with the ‘law of<br /> attraction’ and ‘seed money’ is attitude and belief.<br /> <br /> The greatest thing about giving, gifting and planting seed<br /> money is; no one can stop you from doing it, No One!<br /> <br /> Anyone can practice this! No matter their age, gender,<br /> education, economic level. The only thing stopping you is<br /> you and not knowing the formula on how it works.<br /> <br /> You can practice this activity alone or you can have a<br /> buddy system. I personally like the buddy system.
